I've been back on a bit of a primer kick lately, normally when I'm buying a primer I want something that's going to be mattifying and also make my foundation last longer. But when I saw this in Penny's for €5 I thought I might try something different, and you know what they say, "a change is as good as the rest".
I find the best way for me to use this is as a traditional primer. Now it does say on the packaging that it can be used over makeup as a liquid highlighter but I found that it made me look slightly oily when I did that. But when used as a traditional primer under foundation it makes my skin look very hydrated and glowy, even after my full makeup was on.
It provides a great base for my foundation and made my foundation stay all day! I love the fact that it's not packed full of chunky glitter but adds more of an iridescence to the skin, which topped with your foundation, turns into glowing goddess skin. It does have a little bit of a scent to it, it's kind of like fresh clean soap smell, but it's not in any way offensive and you don't really smell it on your skin.
Overall I think this product has converted me to the world of illuminating primers!
