Review: Bourjois Blush in Rose D'Or

Bourjois was never really a brand I went to when I was looking for makeup. I vaguely remember when I first started wearing makeup my older sister gave me a Bourjois eyeshadow in a frosty pink/purple shade, looking back I know now why she didn't keep it for herself (I looked like I had an eye infection) but at the time I thought I looked the shit!

I was looking for something different when I was in the chemist and realised that I haven't really given the Bourjois brand a good look. So I decided to pick up a few bits and try them out.

This pot blush in Rose D'Or is one of the items I picked and to be honest, I'm quite happy I picked it up! It gives a gorgeous rose glow to the cheeks. It's also got a little bit of a sheen to it. So it's definitely not a Matt blush. I like the fact that this is very natural looking blush and makes you look like you only have a hint of colour on your cheeks, it doesn't look like blush to me but more of a natural flush of colour. It is build-able and this pot of blusher will last you a lifetime!

I like the packaging as it's quite small and therefore saves you space in your makeup bag. It also has a magnetic closure and a small mirror in the lid, it does come with a brush but I don't use it as its way to small and fiddly.

Overall I'm quite impressed and will definitely look into the Bourjois brand a bit more in the future!
