I've been playing around with these for a couple of months now and trying different variations and different methods of applying them to the nails.
As far as I can remember these are about €4 each for the nail powders. Unfortunately I can't remember how much the top coat is but as its essence, I wouldn't imagine it's more than €5.
So far there are 6 different nail powder colours to choose from:
🌸 01 mirror, mirror on the wall (silver)
🌸 02 me and my unicorn (purple that shifts to blue)
🌸 03 I'm so fancy (pink)
🌸 04 a touch of vintage (yellow gold)
🌸 05 under the sea (dark blue)
🌸 06 be my little mermaid (green)
After using these for a while I've discovered that they apply better over a dark colour as opposed to a clear top coat. You can see from the swatches, how they apply over a black, clear and in some of cases over corresponding colours like yellow, navy and green.
The best way to apply these is to paint your nails in whichever colour you want and let it dry for 1 minute. Then using your finger dab a small amount onto the nail and buff it in using the pad of your finger. Then seal it with the metal shock top coat. After everything is dry I like to go over it with my own top coat to make sure it's gonna stay on. Once everything is dry, wash your hands to get rid of the powder residue from your fingers.
These are pretty good for an at home metallic manicure and are easy enough to do. You can do a number of different looks with these like using mirror, mirror on the wall over a hot pink polish or maybe over a red. Or you could use under the sea over a light blue or teal polish. The options are end
Endless. I have found that if you use them on a clear polish they don't really look metallic but more pearlescent, but they might look really nice over French manicure.
Overall I really like these nail powders! And they also get the thumbs up from my sister and niece!
