Review: Urban Decay Original Naked Palette V's W7 In the Buff: LightlyToasted Palette

I'm always on the hunt for dupes of high end products that are a little more purse friendly and that I can share with everyone. It seems that the original naked palette is the favourite out of all the naked palettes for most people as the colours seem to suit everyone. At the end of October W7 released their In The Buff: Lightly Toasted Palette which I can honestly say is almost an exact dupe for the original Naked palette.

The original naked palette has a velvet outer packaging with the lettering printed onto it, while the W7 one comes in a pencil box tin with the lettering embossed on the lid. They both have the same colour outer packaging however while Urban Decay used gold lettering, W7 have used a light beige. The Naked palette comes with s mirror and a single ended brush while the W7 palette doesn't have a mirror but it does come with a double ended applicator (one side is a brush the other is a sponge tip).

The only difference in shad that I could spot between the two palettes was that the shade from the naked palette called Sidecar has glitter in it while the corresponding shade from the W7 palette doesn't. Also the shade Half Baked from the naked palette has a little more of a metallic finish to it compare to the one in the W7 palette.

Overall I think the W7 palette is a really good alternative to the Original Naked palette. The colours are very pigmented and are a very good quality. The Urban Decay original Naked palette retails for €44 while I picked the W7 one up for €6.99! Seriously €6.99 how can you go wrong! For any makeup lover out there it's definitely worth a look!

I've been using W7 products for years and I've always found them to be very good quality and very reasonably priced!

Hope this helps
