So I thought we might start a new little series here on the blog. A top five or so of my favourite nail polishes broken down by colour.
As it's December I thought Red polishes would be a good place to start as it's fitting with the holidays. So below are may all time favourite red polishes with a little description.
W7 in the shade Crimson:
If you are looking for a deeper wine/red that this is the shade for you. 2 coats of this polish and you are good to go.
OPI in the shade OPI Red:
This is a beautiful berry toned red that is still a little on the darker side of a true red.
Models Own in the shade Robbin Red:
This is a little bit more of a brighter red, 2 coats of this and it looks like you have gotten a set of Gel nails done.
W7 in the shade Pillar Box Red:
To me this is the perfect true red, it's bright and vibrant.
Le Mini Macaron gel polish in the shade Cherry Red:
This is my favourite red gel polish, pop it on and it lasts for weeks and still looks as vibrant as the day it's applied.

To me red polish is timeless and classy (think of Marilyn Monroe or Marlene Dietrich). I don't know what it is but I just feel that little bit more put together when I wear this colour. Also on a side note, red nail polish is meant to signify passion, fire and confidence.
